Once again the society in Iran is on the verge of historical developments. An era full of upheavals has begun. An era of awakening, an era of people’s uprising to determine their own destiny, and an era of determining battles over freedom and prosperity. The Islamic Republic of Iran is going. Even the thickest defenders of this government, the right wing faction and the reformists within the government have realized it. People’s verdict is for this state to go and they are in the process of overthrowing it. Every day we are witnessing people’s protests against the Islamic Republic.

The working class and the Worker-communism movement has to safeguard that the struggle to overthrow the regime is ever more organized, strong and achieves its aim with speed and the least degree of devastation. Workers and Communists are rightly the leaders of the mass movement to overthrow the state. The process of toppling the state has begun. The Worker-communism Unity Party is determined to be at the forefront of this struggle and endeavors to bring about the most extensive rank of the working class in this struggle. Organizing workers strikes can paralyze the suppressive and murderous machinery of the Islamic regime and inflict serious blows to it. Overthrowing of the regime is in your hands.
However, the overthrow of the Islamic regime is only half of the way.

The current developments in Iran are not just about the survival of the regime or its absence. What is going on today will determine how tens of millions of people live tomorrow. The future is being built today. A great choice is being made. This future, if we are defeated, will be the repeat of what existed during the rule of the Monarchy and Islam but in a different format. However, if we succeed, and we can succeed, then the society will enjoy a free, equal and prosperous future. A society where there is no exploitation, poverty, dominant or subordinate classes, despotism, religious superstition, reactionary traditions and morals, inequality, or discrimination. A socialist society. Worker-communism Unity Party once again emphasizes on the historic role of the working class and the Worker-communism movement in molding the future of Iran and the unique window of opportunity that has opened up in Iran for the leadership of a massive movement for freedom and equality.
Comrades! Workers, in the world of capitalists, in their laws, in their economic relations, cultures and in every aspect of this inhumane system of profit and capital, live as people with no rights, are forced to be subservient, with no security and have to endure hardship. However, it is more than a century and a half since humanity has identified the name worker and the banner of Worker-communism as freedom, equality, free thinking, social justice, prosperity, liberation and against superstition. Now there is a unique historical opportunity for the working class in Iran to end the century long rule of different parties of the ruling classes on people’s lives. This opportunity is here for the workers and communists to build a magnificent example of a free, equal and prosperous society in Iran for the world to see. Come forth to undertake such a role, to organize and lead a great revolution against the Islamic Republic and capital. The future of the society depends on your intervention in the current developments.
